Unbrick Your Samsung Galexy Ace GT S5830i


Last week i brought a brand new Samsung Galaxy ACE GT S5830i. Rooted it on the day brought it. and i started playing with the ROM . unfortunately the boot loader crashed .and the phone stuck on boot screen .I tried to enter recovery mode by pressing POWER + Volume up + Home buttons ,it also doestnt work . I become panic. and i googled it .Found that My phone is bricked . and i found a working method to unbrick it 


How to Unbrick Ace 5830i / How to use odin -
  • Things you need:
    1. Samsung Drivers (link)
    2. Odin with pit.zip (Download)
    3. Firmware package - It is samsung original OS that will be flashed using odin. You can get it in two ways:
      1. S5830IXXLA4_S5830IOXXLA2_ATO Repacked -
        • This is a repacked zipped file that is uploaded by me and can be directly flashed using odin.
        • It will work and your phone will be unbricked but the OS might not be from your region. CSC will be different[Download] PASSWORD = mod2xtreme.com
      2. Your Region repack package -
        • Providing package for every ace i of different countries is very difficult so you have to do some work.
        • Go to "Flashing ORIGINAL Samsung Firmware/ Going back to Stack Rom" down below tutorial to learn how to make a Repacked package yourself just like one i created above.
        • Using tutorial "Flashing ORIGINAL Samsung Firmware/ Going back to Stack Rom", 3 files CSC, modem and PDA will be extraced.
        • An additional file Bootloader (link) is requires with other 3. It has been attached below.
          •
        • So, Simply first watch the "Flashing ORIGINAL Samsung Firmware/ Going back to Stack Rom" tutorial first, get the files and get to this tutorial after that.
TO ENTER THE ODIN MODE iN SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT S 5830i 
Press VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN + POWER BUTTON 




Its working .. I got my breath .. Now my phone is working

      I put a cwm and a jb 4.1.1 but I can no longer get into download mode to put the Samsung Firmware 2.3.6! Can you explain better I downloaded everything while I just need to go to dw mode'm not an expert.

      Hi, when I connect my phone to odin, it says in yellow com 4 NOT COM 7, is it a big problem if the number is different! and when I click the button bootloader to select the boot file, the odin program crashes even though I've run it as administrator, what could be the problem? thanks!!!!

      for s5830 the steps up to odin is the same. but you have to find the files for s5830

      try remove ur battery, sim card and sd card..then put on your battery WITHOUT the simcard and sd card..then flash.

    After I select the PIT file, Odin sends an error message 'Odin communicator has stopped working' when I click the button BOOTLOADER (no pop up appears to select the file) and then closes. I cannot find ways to overcome this. Any idea?

    i have Samsung GT s5830 Phone.i got a problem,suddenly i pressed power off button and menu button then i reboot(reboot system now) but then phone was hang. after i download root.zip file and install it and again reboot but again showing my phone model number and going to hang.

    Windows can't detect my phone..I tried reinstalling kies and samsung driver but no help..
    Option 2 i tried your link from xda developers by going to the control panel and installing the drivers manually..But the phone is the unspecified category and it is recognizing it as Usb modem..What should i do??? Please help...

      I reinstalled kies and just installed samsung drivers... Didn't work...
      Next day i did the same but this time just by connecting the phone i guess..It worked and my phone got detected....No wonder why...
      if anyone faces the same problem in future just try all possible uninstalling and reinstalling in all possible combinations....Ty..peace...

    I was about to make my phone kiss the wall and saw it in to little pieces. It allready took me like 12hrs and many different guides and it didnt get me anywhere!

    I just bought a new samsung galaxy ace s5830i but its on bricked and i cant get it to download mode or recovery mode it just wont come at all with all the buttons i pressed. I think its hard brick but i need it to be unbricked because i bought it with my life savings. Please get back to me. ;-(
